Wild Things EP Advert - Click Here For Bigger ScanThe creatures in question are a Banshee and a Budgie.  Siouxsie and her drummer have made a double single, featuring four new songs and a cover of the Troggs' 'Wild Thing'. n The latter is the only point at which the whole thing comes unstuck, but that apart, it's an astonishingly successful exercise.  Several, Siouxsie voices over Budgie's quite magnificent drums and percussion make up the entire fabric of the thing, but it never sounds sparse.  Siouxsie dares to sing on some of it, which is quite new; the material's good too, with 'Thumb' coming nearer to poetry than any Banshee stuff I ever heard.  A surprise and a triumph.
